click on image to donate	SA ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION More than 10 percent of people in South Africa suffer from some form of Arthritis. Research will reduce the need for expensive hospital care through more effective treatment. With no Government Funding, our Association relies on public support for our all-important projects. Every little bit helps our cause.

The Arthritis Foundation aims to support research to find a cure for, and prevention of Arthritis, and to improve the quality of life for those affected by Arthritis through education, training and the encouragement of support groups.

Current projects

• Black educators for public education in previously neglected Black areas
• Training of Rheumatology Nurses to operate in underprivileged areas
• Research grants to scientists and clinicians for projects aimed at improving diagnosis and treatment of patients with Arthritis
• Promotion of awareness of juvenile arthritis
